Today’s Gratitude – Be Grateful For Your Spouse

Posted by mital on December 4, 2008

Today’s Gratitude

Express gratitude to your spouse, or whoever that special person is in your life is.  Don’t just be grateful, let them know that they’re appreciated.  Sometimes we tend to take advantage of having that special someone in our life, that person who’s always by our side and goes out of their way to make sure we’re alright.

Throughout the day today, every time this person extends their kindness to you, see it as if a stranger just did this.  How would react if a stranger went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable?  In many instances, we’re probably more likely to express more gratitude to a stranger for their kindness, rather than our other half, it’s actually kind of sad.

So express your gratitude to him or her to the fullest extent and let that gratitude grow with each act of kindness.

Be grateful that somebody loves you! :)

The Conscious Awareness Experience Day 4

Posted by mital on August 5, 2008

I’ve been very aware of my actions. Of each action, I’ve been observant of my thoughts. What I realized today, was I have been on auto – pilot when it come to decision making.

This is something I never really considered, which shows how automatic and engraved in my mind it was. I’ve been completely unaware of the decisions I make. I seem to just make them.

Even during the this conscious awareness experience, I’ve been very aware of my actions and my thoughts, but have not been at all aware of my choices, and decision.

It’s a very fine line, in some instances I’ve been conscious of how I would react emotionally and physically to a situation, but at the same time reacting through the decisions I make, completely unaware.

I was aware of grabbing hold of the beer bottle, putting it to my lips and the delicious taste on each of my millions of taste buds. At the same time, unaware of when I made the decision to drink that beer.

So, what’s coming up for me here is being aware of my decision making process. This the root from which all our actions are driven. Such a simple thing, which I have been exposed to over and over through personal development, yet until I started being aware of myself, didn’t realize.

Response-Ability, is what it comes down to. Through the Discovery Series and teachings from Osho, I’ve come to realize the true meaning of this word, it’s my ability to respond to a given situation. What I was unaware of, is that everything in life is a situation. I was under the impression that a situation had to be something negative, some sort of obstacle or barrier. But, every experience in which requires a decision or response is a situation, from the decision to brush your teeth, to becoming a millionaire to taking an intrinsic look within yourself.

The response to any situation, creates a new situation, each and every time. So in every moment, with every decision we make, mentally, physically and spiritual, we arrive only at the next situation then we must respond once again to this situation. And this is how we co-create our lives.

With this, it may serve us all to be aware of not only our response to a situation, but what situation may arrive next, because of this response. Keep in mind, we are not 100% in control of the next situation, thus we are co-creators of our lives. There is a energy force, much larger and much more powerful, that we may never fully understand.

The Conscious Awareness Experiment Day 3

Posted by mital on August 4, 2008

This mind is a trickster. He makes me feel like i’m suffocating when I don’t let him express himself, when I’m in a state of awareness, and it’s not his time to speak. When he’s given the chance to speak, he’s silent. He just wants control!

Awareness is the only true transformation I have undergone. Many times I have said I would change my ways, that I would do things differently, but only through this awareness experience have I actually seen change.

Today, was the first day in my awareness experience that I was surrounded and interacting with others all day. The previous days, I’ve had the luxury to be in semi-seclusion. Thus, it was quiet an interesting day, in which I learned a lot about myself, and my mental and physical patterns.

Quiet a few times I found that I did not react as I normally would, automatically, because of awareness. My wife did something, that in an unaware, unconscious state would of triggered a very negative response, of me lashing out in anger. Being aware, I literally observed the reaction I would of had. I saw exactly what I would have done, in reaction to her actions.

Thankfully, I was fully aware at the moment, and the incident stopped there, because my consciousness, instead of my ego, was in control. Because of the awareness that I held, I didn’t not get angry or upset as usual, I did not lash out and make the incident bigger than it was. I simply observed it for what it was, and moved on to the next moment, with understanding, peace and love.

Awareness is truly liberation, the key to happiness and unlimited joy. Awareness is what it means to be filled with love and peace. Being aware in each moment, we are able to let go of that which just happened, in the last moment. It is only because of pain form the past or anxiety of the future, that we feel negative emotions. Being present in the present, puts an end to reference points which may cause pain and we get to enjoy life for what it is right now, in this moment.

The Conscious Awareness Experiment Day 2

Posted by mital on August 3, 2008

The gaps between thoughts is where awareness lives. Thoughts need space, awareness is in the present, there is no space. Therefore there can be no thoughts. Being aware in every moment, not an easy task, but with disciple and practice can be attained. Awareness is a seed, nuture it and it will grow into a tree.

With awareness actions are performed more accurately, because you are co-creating each the results of each action. A cook create wonderful tasting food, because he is aware of each ingredience he is using. It is the quality of his awareness that make the wonderful taste.

Those who are world class in what they do, are so because of the awareness they bring to what they do. When you bring awareness to each and every task you do, to each and every action you take, you are co-creating the result by simply being aware of what you are doing, you are giving each action the energy attention and focus, think about how the law of attraction works. That which you give you energy, attention and focus to, expands.

I relized this in the little things I did throughout the day. Making tea, which I do every morning. I was aware of putting the honey it, and with that awareness I knew it would be perfect. I must say, in all the years I’ve been making tea on a daily basis, today I made the best Tea i’ve ever tasted. Before when I used to make my tea, I would be running back and forth, making tea and journaling. So my thoughts would be shooting at 1,000 miles per hour, the honey would just be thrown in there. Some days good, some day’s ok, some day’s off. But, today I realize how to make the perfect tea every-time.

I realized the things I did mechanically, being unaware, being consumed by thoughts while performing action, was when I made mistakes. Not every time, but I caught my self many times, and I realize, I was thinking and taking action at the same time, I was not aware, thus I made a mistake.

Investigating and experiencing awareness is starting to clear up so much for me. I’ve come to realize why I’ve gotten the results I have in my life, and it simply comes down to awareness. Thinking and acting at the same time is worst type of multi-tasking, thinking and acting should have their own dedicated times. I realized all my life, my awareness has always been split. I’m a thinker, thoughts constantly bombarded my mind, shooting at thousands of miles per hour.

I’m a very passionate person, when I get into something I put my whole mind into it, and that’s where the problems lays. My mind is going off, thinking and speaking while I’m taking action, so I’m not completely aware of what I’m doing, I’m not fully focused, I’m occupied with my thoughts. While I mechanically take actions, unaware.

So, I’m creating half-assed results, because I have half-assed attention and focus.

The other thing here is, with so many thoughts flowing all the time, many times I don’t take a moment to acknowledge the results, I’m to engrossed in what else I can do, what I’m going to do next, and completely overlook the results.

You can have a bag of diamonds, but if you do not have the eyes to see them, you may toss them aside thinking they’re are simple pieces of glass! Awareness is the only way to truly know what we have.

You may make the best tasting tea in the world, but if you are reading a book as you sip on your tea, you’ll never know that you make the best tasting tea in the world. It’s amazing how much I learned from a cup of tea today.

The Conscious Awareness Project Day 1

Posted by mital on August 2, 2008

This first hour of awareness is feeling very uncomfortable. I feel the turbulance inside of me. As I keep focused on staying aware of exactly what I am doing in each moment, my mind wants to throw up and lash out everything inside it…it wants to scream and shout, it feels very uncomfortable because it is not in control.

I can physically feel it in my solarplexus as a weight. This uncomfortablity maybe be because the first thing I do every morning after waking up is let my mind free, that is the time when it it is most active, goes off about everything good and bad.

But now I have shifted my awareness to that which Im doing in the very moment. My mind will have it’s chance to let loose and pour out everything, but only when it is time to do so and I can be completely aware of that as well, this way I can be aware of what’s going on in my mind, what thoughts I’m having.

—– Side-note —–

It’s a funny thing, just a little while ago while i was in the shower, I kept my awareness on what I was doing, not letting my mind stray and go bananas with all it’s thoughts It wanted to lash out very badly, it go very uncomfortable. But, now that I am allowing it to speak, with awareness and observation, it doesn’t have much to say.

—– Side-note —–

The thing I find though, is when you think with awareness, impure thoughts are not possible. I learned this from journaling, while I’m journaling I hardly ever have thoughts which are not in alignment with me.

Awareness gets rid of all the crap, the more aware you are the more real you are.

When you do things with awareness, you do things right! I realized this right now pouring my cup of tea. I usaully end up spilling a lot of it as I pour from pot to cup then cup to cup to cool it…i did it with awareness and didn’t spill any!

With awareness I feel no need to do anything. But to reside in my awareness. I feel no need to do my personal development, for all it will do is try to teach me how to be aware. But can you be taught how to be aware? Where is the teaching in that. Just be aware.

With awareness the only urge I have is to share that which is coming form within me with the world. I have no more desires, no more dreams. Just to be here in this moment, in every moment with an awareness and allow the Universal Energy to flow through me, and then share that energy with the world. All else is nonsense, I don’t care for it.

Now, how can I go in the direction of my dreams? I no longer have any! I have become dispassionate..lol. No more passion resides within me and I love it! Because now all I can do is LOVE! AWARENESS!

The Conscious Awareness Experiment.

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

The word Awareness has been striking a chord with me lately. I realized this last week, when I was speaking to Bapuji ( one of my spiritual guru’s ). Something about it really stuck with me when he mentioned the word.

Then again, yesterday as I was doing my Discovery Series exercise, that involved focusing on one of my top three goals for 20 mins. The goal I was focusing on was, ‘Constantly overflowing with Love and Bliss.’

So, as I focused on this, journaling, going through articles and then watching a video by OSHO, on love. Again and again I came across the word awareness, and it kept ringing in my head. The first thing I did after waking up this morning, was read some Osho, and again there was Awareness!

I realized awareness is knocking on my door, very loudly.

I’ve decided for the few days, to be aware in every moment, with every thought, feeling and action. I will be sharing this experiment with you all, by posting a blog about it each day, it will also serve to hold me accountable.

I invite, those of you who are bold, to join me in this experiment. We can share our experiences and learn from each other.

Benefits Of The Discovery Series, Life Transformation

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

What makes the Discovery Series different than anything I’ve come across in the Personal and Spiritual development field is, the number of teachers ( Luminaries ), and the spiritual aspect of this program.  It truly covers the whole spectrum of, Body, Mind and Spirt.

The Discovery Series has Eight Paths, taught by 13 teachers ( Luminaries ).  Each an expert in their field.  Covering Personal Development, Prosperity and Wellness, through a spiritual approach.

The Eight Paths:

 1. The Path Of Purpose
 2. The Path Of Power
 3. The Path Of Attraction
 4. The Path Of Results
 5. The Path Of Relationships
 6. The Path Of Wellness
 7. The Path Of Riches
 8. The Path Of Liberation
Discovery Luminaries:
 1. Patrick Combs
 2. Michael Losier
 3. Janet Atwood ( My Favorite )
 4. Fredric Lehrman
 5. Dr. Ellie Drake, MD
 6. Shane Ellison
 7. Deanna Latson
 8. Mark Shimada
 9. Martin Latulippe
 10. Erica Combs
 11. Glenn and Gwen Pickering
 12. Daryl Davis
 13. Coleman Fisher

From the minute I popped the first CD into my CD player, I’ve been truly experiencing transformation. Other Personal Development programs I completed in the past brought me to realizations, of how things work, as far as the Universe the Mind and Success.  But with Discovery, it’s different, I’ve been literally making quantum leaps in consciousness!

And, I’ve been seeing the results in my life.  I’m filled with love and bliss.  I’ve become an attraction magnet.  It’s helped me get out of my own way, become a better person, a better son, a better husband and a better friend.

I’ve taken on the conscious awareness to keep an even mind in all things.

I honestly cannot put into words the transformation I’ve had with this program!

There’s so many great things about this program, but the two things that really stand out to me are,

1. The number of teachers teaching.  The wonderful thing about this is, one person may say something in one way and it really may not do something for me, but another person can say the same thing in a different way and it JUST CLICKS!

2. The simplicity of the program.  Everyday, I go to the website and do the exercises, listen to the tracks for the day, off the CD’s and do some journaling.  It takes about 30 mins, but the results are phenomal!  I’ve spent hours and hours reading books, listening to tapes, doing programs, but the Discovery Series truly makes it simple and creates amazing results.  I also love how the exercises are structured, to cover Body, Mind and Spirit on daily / weekly basis.

For more information about the Discovery Series and to listen to a message form each of the Luminaries, Click Here.

My Dream Business, Came True.

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

Life Path Unlimited is really a dream business for me.  Ever since I was very young, I dreamt of being so many things, as we all do.

I’ve always been fascinated with the human mind, I had the desire to get inside peoples minds, because it would allow me to understand and help them.  The only avenue I saw for me to do that, at the time, was to become a Psychiatrist.

But, I never had the desire to go to Medical school, or any school for that matter. After taking a few psychology classes in college, I quickly realized that psychology was mostly bullsh*t, to me.  I didn’t agree with the classifications of different types and groups of people, mainly because I believe each person is an individual and should be treated as such.  My spiritual background wouldn’t allow me to classify and judge people.

So, what I was really looking for was a spiritual approach to the mind.

A few years after leaving college, I started studying personal development.  Many of the things I discovered in personal development, where in alignment with me.  But, there was still something missing, much of it stopped with the mind.

I found what was missing in the Discovery Series, the underlying component of spirituality.  This program has helped me in creating quantum leaps in my consciousness.

I’ve studied materials by Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Joseph Murphy, Maxwell Maltz, ect.  The list goes on and on.  I’ve also studied spirituality in-depth, being my background is east Indian, I was brought up in a very spiritual household.

The Discovery Series brings the two together, in a simple yet extremely effective way.  It’s by far the most transformative information I have come across thus far.

The Breakthrough and Destiny workshops take all that is taught in the Discovery Series to the next level, by always providing fresh new content and exercises to further personal and spiritual growth.

At Life Path Unlimited, I found the tools that would assist me in serving my life purpose,

Another thing I’ve always dreamed of was living a life of freedom, that would allow me to move around, do what I please when I please.  I always wanted to be a entrepreneurthe thought of being stuck in the same place all day everyday, made my stomach turn.

I didn’t want to be restricted in anyway, neither by time nor physicallyI love traveling and seeing the world!  And I’ve always had a strong desire for wealth, so I can give back and enjoy the abundance and luxuries life has to offer.

I never thought I would find all of this in one place, all together.  A place where I could fulfill my desire of learning about the mind and spirituality, help others do the same, create the wealth and still have the freedom to do as I please, when I please.  But, I did!  It’s like the Universe boxed up all my desires and said “here, have fun!”  It’s truly amazing how dreams come true, and I thank Life Path Unlimited for making my dream come true.

All you have to do is hold the vision and believe, your all dreams come true!

7 Steps to A Stronger Mind

Posted by mital on June 25, 2007

This is a great article by Mark Victor Hansen, of the Chicken Soup for The Soul series. It discusses 6 steps to strengthen your mind. I’ve added some resources to help you with the steps he discuss as well as a 7th step of my own. The 7th step is what help me create the positive transformation in my life and I would love to share it with you. Enjoy!

“Our minds are all we’ve got. They are the source of who we, both
personally and professionally, are. They determine our success or
failure. They are our strength and our weakness.

With the quality of our entire lives resting on our minds, it’s unbelievable that we choose to fill them with so much garbage. The amount of negativity from television, newspapers, tabloids and other
media that bombards us on a daily basis is amazing. We would never
think to fill our bodies with only junk food, right? Heck no. We know that if we ate nothing but French fries and ice cream we would experience negative consequences like skin blemishes, weight gain and rotting teeth.

But with mental junk food we don´t see the physical consequences right away. When our minds are constantly filled with negativity and bad news, our minds begin to decay. That´s why we need to develop a strong, Herculean-esque mind.Developing your mental muscles will give you the power to accomplish anything you want in life. Sure, it takes some discipline on your part, but look at the world’s greatest bodybuilders. They don’t show up at the gym every once in a while. They create a workout schedule and they are at the gym every day, no matter what.Hire yourself as your “mental manager”. Figure out how much you’re going to pay yourself and make up a job list. Here are six jobs to assign to yourself to create a stronger mind.

1. Read Right:
How much good news do you see in the newspapers? Editors usually say,
“If it bleeds, it leads.” Not much chance of positivity there. So,
read something else. Read books – good books. Books that motivate you.
Books that inspire you. Look up some of the great inspirational
authors online or in your local bookstore. Read them every morning and/
or every night, before you go to sleep.
Recommended Books:
The Power of Intention
The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth

2. Share Your Mind:
Find someone, or a group of someone’s, who have the same desire to
share positivity. This is called masterminding. Great successes are
created when great minds come together and think about the same
things.

Masterminding Outlets:
Steve Pavlina Forum
Rich Dad Poor Dad
Relentlessly Positive
Email Me

3. Find A Mentor:
My mentor was Buckminster Fuller and I learned more from that man
about life than I ever hoped to. Who are the people you admire most,
whether you know them or not? Figure out whom you’d like to emulate
and study them. If they offer seminars, attend them. If they’ve
written books, read them. Just a few I´d recommend are:Jim Rohn,Tony Robbins,Dr. Wayne Dyerand Zig Ziglar or Email Me, I’d love to mentor you!

4. Listen to Motivational/Inspirational CDs and DVDs:
This is one of the most important habits you can create for yourself.
Find inspirational audio messages and listen to them over and over.
Earl Nightingale, one of the most brilliant thinkers of our time, had
this to say on the subject: “Tape listening is the most important
advance in technology since the invention of the printing press.” With
CDs speakers can reach 10 times as many people as the printed word
ever could.

The Secret DVD (Extended Edition)
The Power of Intention
Think and Grow Rich
Millionaire Mind Teleseminar
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams – The Complete Book on CD (Chopra, Deepak)

5. Sign Up and Attend Seminars:
The motivational messages you hear at seminars, and the inspirational
people you meet, reinforce your self-esteem and positive thinking. You
can search out seminars via the internet, newspapers or local colleges
and universities.

“Practical Spirituality: If life were to come with an owner’s manual for creating wealth, health, overall contentment and spiritual connection, this would be it!”

6. Turn Off the Television:
On average, the television set in an American home is on over 7 hours
a day. Just like any bad habit, it needs to be broken. I’m not saying
that all television is bad. Heck no. I’m simply recommending that you
cut back on your television viewing. Decide how long you’re going to
watch television and then turn it off when you’re time is up. Try
cutting back your television viewing one hour every day at first. You
can use that time to read a book, listen to a motivational tape, walk
your dog or spend time with your family.

7. Take on a Positive Lifestyle. (added by me)
Surround yourself with positive people and work towards a universal positive movement.

After reading these six steps maybe you’re saying, “But Mark, I can´t
do it. I just don´t know if I can be this dedicated to bettering
myself?” Who else are you going to be dedicated to if not yourself?
Because when it comes right down to it, folks, you are all that you’ve
got. Jobs and relationships come and go. Children grow up, leave the
nest and get lives of their own. Then there you are, alone with
yourself. Why not create a “you” you can be proud of.

‘Amaze yourself; manifest your full potential.’”

Business Quote by John Davison Rockefeller

Posted by mital on June 25, 2007

“ A friendship founded on business is better than a business founded on friendship.” - John Davison Rokerfeller

This quote really resonates with me because I’ve been able to create some great friendships with those I’m in business with.  Being able to do business with a group of like minded people is just an amazing thing!  Not only are we like minded in the way we do business but also in who we are personally and that’s what allows us to create these life long friendships.  We are servant hearts, our passion is to help people succeed and transform their lives.  So, naturally many of our philosophies and belief come from a place of serving others.  We are all self-empowered individuals embracing our full potential and working constantly to improve our lives and the lives of those around us.  We are visionary who see and realize their is no limit to what we can achieve.

This is something I’ve always struggled with when it comes to my friends outside the business, even those I’ve known all my life.  They don’t see their full potential nor do they shoot for the stars, so they couldn’t possible understand where I’m comming from.  My friends are very intellegent, but the very fact that they don’t dream BIG, stops me from doing business with them.  I’m doing BIG things in business and if someone dosen’t have the vision to see the unlimited potential of what can be done, it’s a no match for me, no matter how dear that friend may be.

Do business with those who share and understand your big picture, your True Vision and from that vision, beautiful friendships will be created. On the other hand, if you do business with those who don’t share your vision, beautiful friendships maybe destroyed.   Choose those like you.

If this article resonates with you, you may want to look into Life Path Unlimited
