How to get the results you want!

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

What do you do when your not getting the results you want?

Change your habits!

Our habits are the action which determine the results we get. It’s the little things we do on a daily basis, the things you may think don’t really matter that much, but in fact they are very important.

For example, if you trying to lose weight don’t take that extra bite. You may think “well it’s just one bite,” but over time those bites add up. If you took just one extra bite with each meal, it adds up to 1,095 extra bites over the course of a year. Those little bites are what make the difference.

So what should your habits be?

Ask yourself, what are the people that are getting the results I want doing? What are their habits? Once you learn what their habits are, analyze your habits and change whatever is necessary.

If you apply the habits successful people apply, your bound to get successful results!

The Secret To Successful Relationships

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

issuethumbnail.jpg

Don’t you wish everyone in your life was kind, caring and trustworthy?

I’m sure you do.

If two people were to look at the same piece of art, one may see a beautiful masterpiece; the other may see a bunch of ugly colors put together. We view people in the same light, by means of personal preference.

Here’s a great little story from John C. Maxwell’s book 25 Ways to Win with People: How to Make Others Feel Like a Million Bucks.

A traveler nearing a great city asked an old man seated by the road,
“What are the people like in this city?”
“Whate were they like where you came from?” the old man asked.
“Horrible,” the traveler reported. “Mean untrustworthy, detestable in all repsects.”
“Ah,” said the old man, “you will find them the same in the city ahead.”
Scarcely had the traveler gone on his way when another stopped to inquire about the people in the city before him. Again the old man asked about the people in the place the traveler had just left.
“They were fine people: honest, industrious, and generous to a fault,” declared the second traveler. “I was sorry to leave.” The oldman responded, “That’s exactly how you’ll find the people here.”

We see what we want to see, rather than what is.
What is, is just a person, he is neither good nor bad. He is just a person. We make a choice on whether we will see him as a good person or a bad person and our experiences with that person will be based on how we choose to see him.

The way we choose see others is a reflection of how we see ourselves. People who are kind and caring will see others as kind and caring. People who are critics will see others as being judgmental.

The secret to successful relationships with people is to change how you see yourself on the inside and everything will automatically change on the outside. A positive inner view will bring about positive experiences with others, and vice versa.

Benefits of Running and How to Get Started

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

woman_running_beach_dupethumbnail.jpgDid you know running could dramatically change your life?

Not only health wise, but mentally and spiritually as well.

I started running a few weeks ago and it is incredible, I’m addicted! I not only feel incredibly healthy, but it helped me grow as a person. Each day I run a little further, this gives me a huge boost in confidence, letting me know I can achieve anything I put my mind to. It also taught me that there is something beyond my mind and body. When, both my mind and body think they can’t go any further, spirit carries me to the end. While running and directly after I’m struck with an unlimited amount of creativity. Amazing ideas just come to me.

The hardest part in running is getting started and the staying dedicated to it. So here are a few things that got me started and keep me going.

5 Steps to Creating Long-Term Running Motivation:

1. Clearly define your BIG WHY?

Why are you running? This has to bigger than just to lose a few pounds or just to get healthy. Those types of ‘whys’ make it too easy to cheat. Your why has to be emotional. My ‘why’ is the three girls I have to take care of. And on that last stretch when I feel like I’m going to collapse and can’t go another step, I see their face and I’m so effortlessly carried to the end. This reassures me that no matter how hard things get, I’ll never give up on them. This also keeps me from getting lazy about running. Every time I think of running, I think of them and then there are no if’s, and’s or but’s.

2. Set new Goals Everyday

Everyday I run a little further than I did the previous day. This keeps me stretching and growing. I reach a new goal everyday. This lets me know I can do whatever I put my mind to. Great boost in confidence!

3. Visualize the run

Everyday right before running, I close my eyes relax and imagine myself doing the whole run. You feel as if you already did the run. So when that last stretch comes you’ll say to yourself, “I’ve already done this, there’s no reason I can’t do it again.”

4. Stay focused on Positive Motivating thoughts

I stay focused on pleasant thoughts that drive me. When I begin notices thoughts of being tired or not being able to finish, I instantly shift to some that excites me. Usually I’ll just stay focused on the music.

5. Music

Can’t do anything without music, especially run.

Try it this way. You’ll see running in a whole new light. You’ll begin having great intuition and creative thoughts. You’ll see running is beyond the body; it has great effects on the mind and soul.

Man’s Problem with Survival

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

Mankind needs a shift in consciousness. Those who make the shift and know how to live in harmony with the universe will over come this material world, and thus survive despite the destruction surrounding then.

It is human nature to make dreams come true. Thus we are uncomfortable in this “survival” mode. By trying to just survive, we’re actually causing the opposite effect and killing ourselves. Both, individually and as a species.

When we allow our dreams to manifest, then we will be alive. No longer dying with each moment spent wastefully in sorrow and stress.

By trying to just survive, we create a mentality of lack. We convince ourselves that if we don’t do certain things a certain way, we will not survive. We believe there is a shortage, so we take and hoard instead of giving. This is a destructive mentality. Your killing another, “cutting throat,” so you can survive. The next man is going to cut you for it and on and on.

Where can we possibly go with such a society? We can’t move, we get stuck in cycles and patterns of living that keep bringing us back full circle. We need to breakout of that cycle and create a straight line. Go off the path, think and live differently. Live intentionally! Create a better life for you and all those around you. Do this by striving to be your best in every area of your life. Give and help others find this way of living and in that you will find your happiness, joy and all that you’ve ever desired.

Is Life Passing You By?

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

be-here-front.jpgOften we allow life to pass us by, because we forget what life really is.

We are constantly thinking. We have something like sixty thousand thoughts per day. Our thoughts are mostly concerned with the past and the future. How often do you think of the moment your in right now and nothing else? This very moment is what you life is, everything else is just a picture in your mind.

In order to be alive you have to Be Here Now!

You’ve experienced the feeling of being here now, you’ve been there many times in your life. It’s the feeling of being in the moment, where past and future seize to exist and all your worries are gone. You forget who you are, it doesn’t matter. You are just here now.

Being Here Now is a feeling of complete joy!

If you wish to be happy in life,, you must learn experience as many moments as possible, each moment fully experienced will bring more and more happiness in to your life.

I found a great article by Alvin Soon, from Life Coach’s Blog, listing 7 steps to being in the moment and feeling Alive:

Freedom in Slavery

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

dsc01405jpg.jpgMy trip to India was life transforming, I had a huge shift in my mindset. While in Nikora, I not only believed, I now knew. I felt the presence, I felt my body disappear. The night of the pranpratishta, sitting there on the outside of the temple, I was balsting through consciouness. Silent, nothingness, void but so deep so high.

After the cermony was over, I started out on to the dark river and I no longer existed. I was like a zombie standing and staring silently, just staring into the darkness of the night, with the light fill me. I felt as if I didn’t exist, yet i was one with this universe, one with everything. I had got exactly what I came to get!

Once I went back to the states, back into what I like to call the “choas zone”..lol. I started have more realizations about my realationship with the Universe. I started feel the Universe shifting itself around me. I felt it through my being, through my body.

I remember this time specifically because lot of change in my occured. I became the leader in my business and I didn’t do anything differently. I felt differnt and the things I needed to do to be the leader in the business, just started happening on autopilot.

The Nikora experience gave built a strong knowingness, a strong trust in me and along with that came much confidence. Because now I have God on my side, I don’t believe in God, I KNOW IN GOD! It’s not a question of is God listening or helping me, he’s with me in every moment in every breath, I FEEL HIM!

A problem I was having after getting back to the “Chaos Zone” was losing sight of him at times. He never left me, but at time I forgot he was there. I found myself turning to him when I needed him, instead of just letting him be with me always.

What happens when you forget he’s always with you? You feed into the bullshit reality, being emotionally tied to this nonsensical world. The drama, the problems, letting what I observed around me effect me. Stress, anger, fear, pressure, fustration. Over all I was very joyous and peaceful, but at times I let these negative energy infiltrate me and they we’re taking their toll.

Then it hit me, again! This time with a more clear sense of how to handle this life. SILENCE! SILENCE! SILENCE! Don’t think, let it happen. Let it come to you. Whatever so it is. You just sit there silently and as it comes to you, you do what is necessary with it.

In other words, I surrendered. I wanted nothing for myself, my only purpose in this life is to serve others. I had all that i ever wanted and needed right here inside of me, everything. So I gave up, I gave up everything. No desires left. I am here only to serve whatsoever God requires of me.

“When slavery is by choice it is freedom, but if freedom is without choice it is slavery. Freedom and slavery are clearly demarcated entities. If we have chosen slavery of our own will it is freedom, but if freedom is imposed upon us it is slavery.” – Osho

I chose to become a slave! I was looking to free myself form slavery, I was looking for freedom, to free myself from this world. I found that my freedom is in slavery to the Universe. Amazing how this works! Thanks Osho!

Serve this Universe, that’s what freedom is. The catch is you cannot be handed a belief about this, the words I say are just words. Until you know it, it dosen’t matter. You cannot be told, serve the Universe and you’ll be free. It dosen’t work like that. You must surrender yourself!

Silent Service is The Key

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

Silence is the key! Be silent, always be silent. Turn off the Monkey Chatter. Be silent (……………………………………………………………………). When your silent, what comes to you is intutions and that is God speaking to you. You can only hear him through silence. If you want to talk to someone across the world, you need a phone to do so. Like a phone, silence is the instrument that gives you a direct connection to God.

Don’t just listen to him, let him control you. Surrender! Get silent and just let it happen, let “life” happen, let the “world” happen. Go wherever he takes you, have no judgements about it, just SHUT UP and Watch!

Let him flow through you, let him use you to do whatsoever he pleases. The amazing thing is, though it sounds like you’ve become a zombie, a robot, controlled by this force, you’ll have the ultimate human being than ever. You’ll be more alive than ever before.

When you serve the Universe, you are shown the reality of it. You no longer take cues from your ego fabricated mind of limited view points and worrying about the consequences of your action, but you take cues from the unlimited Universe that works in perfection, every consequence is the right consequence.

Serve the Universe and it will serve you. It will fill your life with all that you desire, this is the natural law by which the Universe operates. You scratch his back, and he’ll scratch yours. But, don’t fall into the trap of “trying” to serve the Universe for your benefit. It will not work then, because then all your doing is serving your Ego. As we all know ego does not reciprocate your actions, the more you give it the more it wants. (………………………………………) Silence is the Key!

Wake Up

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

There is only one truth and that is the higher power. Everything else is false, nothing really exists, it’s all just a dream. Dreams we make up and feed into, so may times these lives turn into nightmares, because we’re not aware of the fact that it’s all just a movie and nothing is real.

WAKE UP!

When you wake up form this “nightmare” and see this life for what it really is, a dream! You’ll realize you can make whatever you want of “life.” Living a ego based life we try to acquire things form the outside world, believing these things will make you happier or more comfortable. But, everything you need for happiness and comfort is right inside of you. THUS, the conflict and uneasiness on the inside is independent of the material world.

We spend our lives trying to fix things in our outside world. That’s not our resposibilty, that’s the Universe resposibilty. Your only resposibility is to fix your inside world and be the best person you can possibly be and all else will simply fall into place.
