The Rat Race: Corporate Enslavement of the Common Man
Posted by mital on February 7, 2007
We all have dreams, but sometimes we lose track. The world seems to throw what they call “life” at us. Just to survive, we end up working away our lives. 60, 70, 80 hr weeks, when do you breath? And all this, just to make ends meet?
We slowly give up all hopes of living our dreams, we just go on living a routine. It’s not our fault, it’s the system we’ve been taught.
If you don’t pursue your passion, you can consider yourself dead, because there’s no life without passion. If your not doing what you love, why are you living? To be a machine for a job force that pays you enough to keep you Just Over Broke? To support the luxury lifestyles others?
No that’s not what life is supposed to be!
We’re here to live out our dreams, catch the shooting star. Sky’s the limit, how far can you reach?
Why aren’t we living this way?
Corporation and government have brain washed us to be workers for their business systems. Employees are nothing more than an investment for these corporations. They want to get the most they can out of you and pay you the least they possibly can. They’re trying to make as much as they can by clentching on to the money.
They know what living costs are, they control living cost. They assess the salary by looking at the living cost, paying you just enough to keep you hanging on to them for 40 years of your life.
You work day in and day out, nothing every really changes in life. It’s all keeps going in a circle. We sell our souls, just to live.
We don’t even raise our own children, we send them away to spend the entire day with a stranger, from a very young age. Then we wonder why the youth of today acts in such erradic ways, because we don’t have the time to give them the attention and affection. We have to work to support our family.
You don’t have to work as hard or as much. You can spend more time with your family and pursing your dreams. Free yourself form this endless Rat Race, come share our gift: Empowered Lifestyles
