We make GOD out to be one who has control over us. Some what a parental figure, who expects us to do certain things a certain way. We believe he’s going to punish us if we don’t do things his way. We think GOD is above us, separate from us. When in reality we are one with GOD. He wants just one thing and that is for us to live as happily as we can. Doing only things that make us happy. Once you start doing only things that make you happy, you’ll see how GOD partners up with you to help you along the way.

Contrary to the common belief, He does not punish. The pain we feel as well as our happiness is a result of what we think. If you think GOD is going to punish you for a committing a sin and something happens in your life to hurt you, your automatically going to think GOD punished you. In actuality you attracted this pain to your life because you were awaiting a punishment. Your mind was set on punishment form the guilt you felt by committing that “sin.”

According to the Law Of Attraction, your negative guilty feelings will attract a negative situation into your life, and vice versa. We punish our self because we feel guilt. We feel guilt because our actions are not in alignment with what we really want.

When we feel guilty about things we do, we fear God. Fear comes from a lack of trust and if you do not trust Him, how can he help you? He can’t! It’s hard to help someone who does not have faith in you.

The problems is not God, the problem is the way we see him. See him as your bestfriend who wants to help bring only joy and happiness in your life. Take responsibilty for your feelings of guilt and fear in relation to the pain they bring into your life. Get in alignment with what you really want. Then the problem will be solved.

Religion…It’s all wrong!

Posted by mital on March 19, 2007

All religions have been greatly misunderstood. To label yourself a follower of a certain religion is missing the point of religion. Religion is personal to each man; it is something that comes from within. All religious scriptures are just interpretations of TRUTH, by the author. It’s stupid to base a religion on it and follow it word for word. First of all, no two human beings can have the same experience in this world, for each of us is a unique individual with an unique individual perception. Telling another how to perceive something is denying their ability of perception, it’s imprisoning them to in to another’s way of thinking. Any man, who makes you believe his way of thinking is the right way, is a phony! For a man of true religion understands that each man must find religion within himself, by himself, in his aloness.

The point of religious scripture is to avail different experiences in order to educate man on the truth. None is to be followed so rigidly as to give ones freedom. These scriptures are meant to be studied, from them take what you like and leave the rest and do so with all religious scriptures. Make it personal to you.

The majority of religious scriptures are thousands of years old. We don’t speak the same language as they did, the words may be familiar, but the meanings of the words have changed drastically. What has happened with religion is basically what happens with the telephone game. If you tell one person you’ve got a cold, by the time this story gets to the tenth person, it turns into you’ve got cancer! People have a tendency to add their two cents to things, just to make it more “interesting.” Now imagine what has happened to these religions over thousands of years of people putting in their two cents. We see it in our world today; look at all the religious fundamentalist, that’s what happened! How much truth is left in these “religions?”

A religion nowadays is nothing more than an excuse to separate humanity, which is a complete hypocrisy of what religion really is. True religion is coming to know that you one with all that exists. Yet there are “religious” wars, IMPOSSIBLE! Every single religion points to one thing, GOD! God is universal, God is one, God is infinite, God is peace. You will find this is the true essence of each religion at its core. So then how can you separate people based on what their concept of attaining God is? How can you fight wars in the name of God, God is peace, how can you fight a war in the name of peace?

These absurd “religious” beliefs need to come to an end and each individual should be allowed to express his real self. Not what he’s taught to believe he is. He is all he is.
