Benefits Of The Discovery Series, Life Transformation

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

What makes the Discovery Series different than anything I’ve come across in the Personal and Spiritual development field is, the number of teachers ( Luminaries ), and the spiritual aspect of this program.  It truly covers the whole spectrum of, Body, Mind and Spirt.

The Discovery Series has Eight Paths, taught by 13 teachers ( Luminaries ).  Each an expert in their field.  Covering Personal Development, Prosperity and Wellness, through a spiritual approach.

The Eight Paths:

  1. The Path Of Purpose
  2. The Path Of Power
  3. The Path Of Attraction
  4. The Path Of Results
  5. The Path Of Relationships
  6. The Path Of Wellness
  7. The Path Of Riches
  8. The Path Of Liberation
Discovery Luminaries:
  1. Patrick Combs
  2. Michael Losier
  3. Janet Atwood ( My Favorite )
  4. Fredric Lehrman
  5. Dr. Ellie Drake, MD
  6. Shane Ellison
  7. Deanna Latson
  8. Mark Shimada
  9. Martin Latulippe
  10. Erica Combs
  11. Glenn and Gwen Pickering
  12. Daryl Davis
  13. Coleman Fisher

From the minute I popped the first CD into my CD player, I’ve been truly experiencing transformation. Other Personal Development programs I completed in the past brought me to realizations, of how things work, as far as the Universe the Mind and Success.  But with Discovery, it’s different, I’ve been literally making quantum leaps in consciousness!

And, I’ve been seeing the results in my life.  I’m filled with love and bliss.  I’ve become an attraction magnet.  It’s helped me get out of my own way, become a better person, a better son, a better husband and a better friend.

I’ve taken on the conscious awareness to keep an even mind in all things.

I honestly cannot put into words the transformation I’ve had with this program!

There’s so many great things about this program, but the two things that really stand out to me are,

1. The number of teachers teaching.  The wonderful thing about this is, one person may say something in one way and it really may not do something for me, but another person can say the same thing in a different way and it JUST CLICKS!

2. The simplicity of the program.  Everyday, I go to the website and do the exercises, listen to the tracks for the day, off the CD’s and do some journaling.  It takes about 30 mins, but the results are phenomal!  I’ve spent hours and hours reading books, listening to tapes, doing programs, but the Discovery Series truly makes it simple and creates amazing results.  I also love how the exercises are structured, to cover Body, Mind and Spirit on daily / weekly basis.

Benefits of Running and How to Get Started

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

woman_running_beach_dupethumbnail.jpgDid you know running could dramatically change your life?

Not only health wise, but mentally and spiritually as well.

I started running a few weeks ago and it is incredible, I’m addicted! I not only feel incredibly healthy, but it helped me grow as a person. Each day I run a little further, this gives me a huge boost in confidence, letting me know I can achieve anything I put my mind to. It also taught me that there is something beyond my mind and body. When, both my mind and body think they can’t go any further, spirit carries me to the end. While running and directly after I’m struck with an unlimited amount of creativity. Amazing ideas just come to me.

The hardest part in running is getting started and the staying dedicated to it. So here are a few things that got me started and keep me going.

5 Steps to Creating Long-Term Running Motivation:

1. Clearly define your BIG WHY?

Why are you running? This has to bigger than just to lose a few pounds or just to get healthy. Those types of ‘whys’ make it too easy to cheat. Your why has to be emotional. My ‘why’ is the three girls I have to take care of. And on that last stretch when I feel like I’m going to collapse and can’t go another step, I see their face and I’m so effortlessly carried to the end. This reassures me that no matter how hard things get, I’ll never give up on them. This also keeps me from getting lazy about running. Every time I think of running, I think of them and then there are no if’s, and’s or but’s.

2. Set new Goals Everyday

Everyday I run a little further than I did the previous day. This keeps me stretching and growing. I reach a new goal everyday. This lets me know I can do whatever I put my mind to. Great boost in confidence!

3. Visualize the run

Everyday right before running, I close my eyes relax and imagine myself doing the whole run. You feel as if you already did the run. So when that last stretch comes you’ll say to yourself, “I’ve already done this, there’s no reason I can’t do it again.”

4. Stay focused on Positive Motivating thoughts

I stay focused on pleasant thoughts that drive me. When I begin notices thoughts of being tired or not being able to finish, I instantly shift to some that excites me. Usually I’ll just stay focused on the music.

5. Music

Can’t do anything without music, especially run.

Try it this way. You’ll see running in a whole new light. You’ll begin having great intuition and creative thoughts. You’ll see running is beyond the body; it has great effects on the mind and soul.
