The Conscious Awareness Experience Day 4

Posted by mital on August 5, 2008

I’ve been very aware of my actions. Of each action, I’ve been observant of my thoughts. What I realized today, was I have been on auto – pilot when it come to decision making.

This is something I never really considered, which shows how automatic and engraved in my mind it was. I’ve been completely unaware of the decisions I make. I seem to just make them.

Even during the this conscious awareness experience, I’ve been very aware of my actions and my thoughts, but have not been at all aware of my choices, and decision.

It’s a very fine line, in some instances I’ve been conscious of how I would react emotionally and physically to a situation, but at the same time reacting through the decisions I make, completely unaware.

I was aware of grabbing hold of the beer bottle, putting it to my lips and the delicious taste on each of my millions of taste buds. At the same time, unaware of when I made the decision to drink that beer.

So, what’s coming up for me here is being aware of my decision making process. This the root from which all our actions are driven. Such a simple thing, which I have been exposed to over and over through personal development, yet until I started being aware of myself, didn’t realize.

Response-Ability, is what it comes down to. Through the Discovery Series and teachings from Osho, I’ve come to realize the true meaning of this word, it’s my ability to respond to a given situation. What I was unaware of, is that everything in life is a situation. I was under the impression that a situation had to be something negative, some sort of obstacle or barrier. But, every experience in which requires a decision or response is a situation, from the decision to brush your teeth, to becoming a millionaire to taking an intrinsic look within yourself.

The response to any situation, creates a new situation, each and every time. So in every moment, with every decision we make, mentally, physically and spiritual, we arrive only at the next situation then we must respond once again to this situation. And this is how we co-create our lives.

With this, it may serve us all to be aware of not only our response to a situation, but what situation may arrive next, because of this response. Keep in mind, we are not 100% in control of the next situation, thus we are co-creators of our lives. There is a energy force, much larger and much more powerful, that we may never fully understand.

The Conscious Awareness Experiment Day 2

Posted by mital on August 3, 2008

The gaps between thoughts is where awareness lives. Thoughts need space, awareness is in the present, there is no space. Therefore there can be no thoughts. Being aware in every moment, not an easy task, but with disciple and practice can be attained. Awareness is a seed, nuture it and it will grow into a tree.

With awareness actions are performed more accurately, because you are co-creating each the results of each action. A cook create wonderful tasting food, because he is aware of each ingredience he is using. It is the quality of his awareness that make the wonderful taste.

Those who are world class in what they do, are so because of the awareness they bring to what they do. When you bring awareness to each and every task you do, to each and every action you take, you are co-creating the result by simply being aware of what you are doing, you are giving each action the energy attention and focus, think about how the law of attraction works. That which you give you energy, attention and focus to, expands.

I relized this in the little things I did throughout the day. Making tea, which I do every morning. I was aware of putting the honey it, and with that awareness I knew it would be perfect. I must say, in all the years I’ve been making tea on a daily basis, today I made the best Tea i’ve ever tasted. Before when I used to make my tea, I would be running back and forth, making tea and journaling. So my thoughts would be shooting at 1,000 miles per hour, the honey would just be thrown in there. Some days good, some day’s ok, some day’s off. But, today I realize how to make the perfect tea every-time.

I realized the things I did mechanically, being unaware, being consumed by thoughts while performing action, was when I made mistakes. Not every time, but I caught my self many times, and I realize, I was thinking and taking action at the same time, I was not aware, thus I made a mistake.

Investigating and experiencing awareness is starting to clear up so much for me. I’ve come to realize why I’ve gotten the results I have in my life, and it simply comes down to awareness. Thinking and acting at the same time is worst type of multi-tasking, thinking and acting should have their own dedicated times. I realized all my life, my awareness has always been split. I’m a thinker, thoughts constantly bombarded my mind, shooting at thousands of miles per hour.

I’m a very passionate person, when I get into something I put my whole mind into it, and that’s where the problems lays. My mind is going off, thinking and speaking while I’m taking action, so I’m not completely aware of what I’m doing, I’m not fully focused, I’m occupied with my thoughts. While I mechanically take actions, unaware.

So, I’m creating half-assed results, because I have half-assed attention and focus.

The other thing here is, with so many thoughts flowing all the time, many times I don’t take a moment to acknowledge the results, I’m to engrossed in what else I can do, what I’m going to do next, and completely overlook the results.

You can have a bag of diamonds, but if you do not have the eyes to see them, you may toss them aside thinking they’re are simple pieces of glass! Awareness is the only way to truly know what we have.

You may make the best tasting tea in the world, but if you are reading a book as you sip on your tea, you’ll never know that you make the best tasting tea in the world. It’s amazing how much I learned from a cup of tea today.

The Conscious Awareness Experiment.

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

The word Awareness has been striking a chord with me lately. I realized this last week, when I was speaking to Bapuji ( one of my spiritual guru’s ). Something about it really stuck with me when he mentioned the word.

Then again, yesterday as I was doing my Discovery Series exercise, that involved focusing on one of my top three goals for 20 mins. The goal I was focusing on was, ‘Constantly overflowing with Love and Bliss.’

So, as I focused on this, journaling, going through articles and then watching a video by OSHO, on love. Again and again I came across the word awareness, and it kept ringing in my head. The first thing I did after waking up this morning, was read some Osho, and again there was Awareness!

I realized awareness is knocking on my door, very loudly.

I’ve decided for the few days, to be aware in every moment, with every thought, feeling and action. I will be sharing this experiment with you all, by posting a blog about it each day, it will also serve to hold me accountable.

I invite, those of you who are bold, to join me in this experiment. We can share our experiences and learn from each other.

Benefits Of The Discovery Series, Life Transformation

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

What makes the Discovery Series different than anything I’ve come across in the Personal and Spiritual development field is, the number of teachers ( Luminaries ), and the spiritual aspect of this program.  It truly covers the whole spectrum of, Body, Mind and Spirt.

The Discovery Series has Eight Paths, taught by 13 teachers ( Luminaries ).  Each an expert in their field.  Covering Personal Development, Prosperity and Wellness, through a spiritual approach.

The Eight Paths:

  1. The Path Of Purpose
  2. The Path Of Power
  3. The Path Of Attraction
  4. The Path Of Results
  5. The Path Of Relationships
  6. The Path Of Wellness
  7. The Path Of Riches
  8. The Path Of Liberation
Discovery Luminaries:
  1. Patrick Combs
  2. Michael Losier
  3. Janet Atwood ( My Favorite )
  4. Fredric Lehrman
  5. Dr. Ellie Drake, MD
  6. Shane Ellison
  7. Deanna Latson
  8. Mark Shimada
  9. Martin Latulippe
  10. Erica Combs
  11. Glenn and Gwen Pickering
  12. Daryl Davis
  13. Coleman Fisher

From the minute I popped the first CD into my CD player, I’ve been truly experiencing transformation. Other Personal Development programs I completed in the past brought me to realizations, of how things work, as far as the Universe the Mind and Success.  But with Discovery, it’s different, I’ve been literally making quantum leaps in consciousness!

And, I’ve been seeing the results in my life.  I’m filled with love and bliss.  I’ve become an attraction magnet.  It’s helped me get out of my own way, become a better person, a better son, a better husband and a better friend.

I’ve taken on the conscious awareness to keep an even mind in all things.

I honestly cannot put into words the transformation I’ve had with this program!

There’s so many great things about this program, but the two things that really stand out to me are,

1. The number of teachers teaching.  The wonderful thing about this is, one person may say something in one way and it really may not do something for me, but another person can say the same thing in a different way and it JUST CLICKS!

2. The simplicity of the program.  Everyday, I go to the website and do the exercises, listen to the tracks for the day, off the CD’s and do some journaling.  It takes about 30 mins, but the results are phenomal!  I’ve spent hours and hours reading books, listening to tapes, doing programs, but the Discovery Series truly makes it simple and creates amazing results.  I also love how the exercises are structured, to cover Body, Mind and Spirit on daily / weekly basis.

For more information about the Discovery Series and to listen to a message form each of the Luminaries, Click Here.

My Dream Business, Came True.

Posted by mital on August 1, 2008

Life Path Unlimited is really a dream business for me.  Ever since I was very young, I dreamt of being so many things, as we all do.

I’ve always been fascinated with the human mind, I had the desire to get inside peoples minds, because it would allow me to understand and help them.  The only avenue I saw for me to do that, at the time, was to become a Psychiatrist.

But, I never had the desire to go to Medical school, or any school for that matter. After taking a few psychology classes in college, I quickly realized that psychology was mostly bullsh*t, to me.  I didn’t agree with the classifications of different types and groups of people, mainly because I believe each person is an individual and should be treated as such.  My spiritual background wouldn’t allow me to classify and judge people.

So, what I was really looking for was a spiritual approach to the mind.

A few years after leaving college, I started studying personal development.  Many of the things I discovered in personal development, where in alignment with me.  But, there was still something missing, much of it stopped with the mind.

I found what was missing in the Discovery Series, the underlying component of spirituality.  This program has helped me in creating quantum leaps in my consciousness.

I’ve studied materials by Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Joseph Murphy, Maxwell Maltz, ect.  The list goes on and on.  I’ve also studied spirituality in-depth, being my background is east Indian, I was brought up in a very spiritual household.

The Discovery Series brings the two together, in a simple yet extremely effective way.  It’s by far the most transformative information I have come across thus far.

The Breakthrough and Destiny workshops take all that is taught in the Discovery Series to the next level, by always providing fresh new content and exercises to further personal and spiritual growth.

At Life Path Unlimited, I found the tools that would assist me in serving my life purpose,

Another thing I’ve always dreamed of was living a life of freedom, that would allow me to move around, do what I please when I please.  I always wanted to be a entrepreneurthe thought of being stuck in the same place all day everyday, made my stomach turn.

I didn’t want to be restricted in anyway, neither by time nor physicallyI love traveling and seeing the world!  And I’ve always had a strong desire for wealth, so I can give back and enjoy the abundance and luxuries life has to offer.

I never thought I would find all of this in one place, all together.  A place where I could fulfill my desire of learning about the mind and spirituality, help others do the same, create the wealth and still have the freedom to do as I please, when I please.  But, I did!  It’s like the Universe boxed up all my desires and said “here, have fun!”  It’s truly amazing how dreams come true, and I thank Life Path Unlimited for making my dream come true.

All you have to do is hold the vision and believe, your all dreams come true!

How to get the results you want!

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

What do you do when your not getting the results you want?

Change your habits!

Our habits are the action which determine the results we get. It’s the little things we do on a daily basis, the things you may think don’t really matter that much, but in fact they are very important.

For example, if you trying to lose weight don’t take that extra bite. You may think “well it’s just one bite,” but over time those bites add up. If you took just one extra bite with each meal, it adds up to 1,095 extra bites over the course of a year. Those little bites are what make the difference.

So what should your habits be?

Ask yourself, what are the people that are getting the results I want doing? What are their habits? Once you learn what their habits are, analyze your habits and change whatever is necessary.

If you apply the habits successful people apply, your bound to get successful results!

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

The difference between good and great is 1 degree. What differentiates between people who do good in life and those who do great is, going the extra degree! The Walk the talk company has created a very inspirational video that illustrates how that extra degree makes the difference. It’s a free watch, enjoy! The 212 Movie. :-D

The Secret To Successful Relationships

Posted by mital on February 13, 2007

issuethumbnail.jpg

Don’t you wish everyone in your life was kind, caring and trustworthy?

I’m sure you do.

If two people were to look at the same piece of art, one may see a beautiful masterpiece; the other may see a bunch of ugly colors put together. We view people in the same light, by means of personal preference.

Here’s a great little story from John C. Maxwell’s book 25 Ways to Win with People: How to Make Others Feel Like a Million Bucks.

A traveler nearing a great city asked an old man seated by the road,
“What are the people like in this city?”
“Whate were they like where you came from?” the old man asked.
“Horrible,” the traveler reported. “Mean untrustworthy, detestable in all repsects.”
“Ah,” said the old man, “you will find them the same in the city ahead.”
Scarcely had the traveler gone on his way when another stopped to inquire about the people in the city before him. Again the old man asked about the people in the place the traveler had just left.
“They were fine people: honest, industrious, and generous to a fault,” declared the second traveler. “I was sorry to leave.” The oldman responded, “That’s exactly how you’ll find the people here.”

We see what we want to see, rather than what is.
What is, is just a person, he is neither good nor bad. He is just a person. We make a choice on whether we will see him as a good person or a bad person and our experiences with that person will be based on how we choose to see him.

The way we choose see others is a reflection of how we see ourselves. People who are kind and caring will see others as kind and caring. People who are critics will see others as being judgmental.

The secret to successful relationships with people is to change how you see yourself on the inside and everything will automatically change on the outside. A positive inner view will bring about positive experiences with others, and vice versa.

Attitude Of Graditude

Posted by mital on February 8, 2007

“I murmured because I had no shoes, until I meet a man who had no feet.”
- Persain Proverb

We all have so much to be thankful for in our live and many times we take advantage of the things we have. Make it a habit, everyday, while your in the shower to just think about all the things your thankful for. Do this for a everday and notice how this sets the tone for you mood throughout the day.
